Elaine Goepfert

Meet Elaine
In 2014 after 11 years of part time photography, Elaine decided to “take the plunge” and leave her full time career as a construction project manager to pursue the dream of operating a full time photography studio.
Elaine’s vision is to operate a studio that provides excellent customer service, straight forward pricing, along with a fun experience in a comfortable environment. She genuinely puts her entire heart into providing gorgeous images with the proper knowledge of lighting & composition coupled with excellent equipment. She also prides herself on being an excellent listener (even though she talks way too much) and her main goal is to tell the client’s story, because that’s where all the heart is.
When not this chasing this dream, Elaine is chasing her three children. She is assisted in this race with her husband, Jason. Elaine truly believes that these are the coolest humans on the planet and her main goal in life is to someday actually impress one of them. Outside of her family, Elaine is also proud of her “favorite child”, her pit bull Sylvie and Sylvie’s best friend Oliver the Cat. She also enjoys running, camping, concerts, art shows and game night with friends.
Elaine’s other passion is the “heart project”. When leaving her career to pursue her dream she promised herself that if she were to have any success, she would always give back to the community. This is what she now refers to as "the heart" of I Love Photography. This pursuit has lead Elaine into multiple community roles such as Hopkins Business & Civic Association President, board member of the Twin Cities Professional Photographer Association, Hopkins Center for the Arts, Hopkins Little League. After years of partnering with non-profits and community leaders Elaine is more inspired every day.
Elaine Goepfert was deemed a Certified Professional Photographer by the Professional Photographer Association after years of studying & proving her expertise in art and technical aspects of photography. She is the only studio in Hopkins, Mn that carries this honor and is one of less than 18 in the entire Twin Cities metro area.
She is also nationally published and a humble recipient of many customer & peer voted awards.

The Studio

WE MOVED!!!
If you've been a client of ours you know that we don't stay still for very long. Constantly changing things up in our Mainstreet studio we decided to move down the road into this big ol' building. We are excited to have moved onto Excelsior Blvd into what, rumor has it, used to be a candy manufacturer building. How cool is that?! Our new location still holds oodles of props, furniture and backdrops. This spacious studio has the comfort of a front lobby to relax in, a dressing room and what we are most excited about...a large camera room to move about and get the best out of our subjects. Plus, it's perfect for those large family photos we've been known to do year after year.
We hope to see you in our new digs soon!

Thank you for visiting our page! Well wishes and best to all. From my family to yours...
- Elaine
